Speakers from Monzo and All4 announced for Canvas product-marketing conference

The Canvas Conference takes place on 26 October at Birmingham Town Hall.

Digital experience studio 383 has announced the first five speakers for its sixth annual Canvas Conference, a day-long product conference in Birmingham sharing inside stories from the people building the world's most interesting digital product and services.

Hugo Cornejo, head of design at mobile-only bank Monzo, Sarah Milton, head of product at All 4, Jeffrey Veen, design partner at True Ventures, Hamish Grierson, founder of Thriva, and Kai Loh, product manager at Duolingo will be among the speakers at the event on Thursday 26 October.

Dan Archer, marketing director of 383, which organises the conference, said: “This is our sixth year of Canvas and we’re proud to have grown the event over those years - both in terms of size and what it’s all about. From a narrower focus on front-end development, we’ve evolved to a wider focus on how boundary-breaking products are built, the challenges we face as product-makers, how we solve them and how we do better.

“From how Facebook designs for new VR experiences to how Netflix use testing to deliver the content they know you’ll love, we’re opened up the Canvas stage to a fantastic array of individuals and organisations and this year is no different.”

Following six sell-out years at a 350 capacity venue, this year the conference moves to the historic Birmingham Town Hall, which can accommodate 500 attendees.
